Spray tans typically last anywhere between 5-7 days but by correctly preparing your skin for your appointment, you will get a longer lasting tan and gorgeous results. Your spray tan can last up to 10 days if you follow these tan preparation tips making it great value for money.

Day before your appointment

Exfoliate: Be sure to exfoliate with a loofah or an exfoliating body wash 24 hrs before your spray tan in order to remove dead skin cells, which will help extend the lifetime of your tan.

Hair removal: Any waxing, shaving, or threading should be done 24 hours beforehand, to ensure that your pores close prior to your tanning application.

Moisturize: Areas such as your knees, elbows, knuckles, and any other dry or rough skin you may have should be well moisturized at least 24 hours before.

Day of your appointment

Beauty: Do not apply any moisturizers, deodorants, or perfumes on the day of your spray tan. If you are getting your face sprayed please remove your make-up.

Clothing: It is best to wear black since the spray solution may rub on your clothes. Spray Tan Solution is an organic product so you don’t have worry about staining your clothing – the solution will wash out.

Undergarments: You can strip down or cover up depending on your comfort level. Bras, thongs, briefs, and bathing suits are all great examples of how to cover up if not going nude. If you are going nude do not put a bra back on.

Footwear: Please wear some sort of slip-on sandal.

After Care

Rinse: Depending on your chosen solution rinse time will vary. Rapid tans may be rinsed between 1- 4 hours. Standard set tans may be up to 8 hours or overnight. Erin will discuss with you during your appointment.

Dos: Use soft towels. Moisturize daily.

Don’ts: Avoid sweating or swimming for 24 hours. Avoid exfoliating skin. Delay shaving.
